Get help downloading eBooks to your Kindle, Nook, smartphone, or laptop! Make an appointment online at www.oaklandlibrary.org or in person at any library location.
Ready, Set, Connect! One-on-one computer tutoring
Saturdays starting September 17, 10:30 am-12:30 pm
We have computer tutors to help you with basic computer skills, email, device set up, and e-book & audio book downloads. Stop by during the week to sign up, or just drop-in.
Writer's Support and Critique Group
Saturday, September 17, 1-5pm
Bring 15 copies of up to 5 pages of any prose for on-site reading/discussion with fellow writers. (You're also welcome to come empty-handed.)

Free Meals for Kids and Teens!
Served Tuesday, Thursday & Friday at 3:30 pm, Wednesday at 1:30 pm
If you're 18 years and younger, come to the Rockridge branch for a delicious meal afterschool. Quantities are limited and meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free meals are provided by Children's Empowerment, an approved sponsor for the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Toddler Storytime
Thursday mornings, 10:30 am—upstairs!
Songs, active rhymes and stories especially for ages 9 months to 2 years, followed by play time!
Make new friends. Upstairs, in the Community Meeting Room.
Preschool Storytime
Thursday mornings, 10:30 am—downstairs!
Read alouds, songs, and rhymes for ages 3 to 5. followed by Playtime! Make new friends, color, and play with toys. Downstairs, in the Children's Picture Book area.
Family Storytime
Saturday mornings, 10:30 am
Stories, songs, and rhymes for all ages (followed by playtime).
Teens
Teen Advisory Board Meeting
Saturday, September 3rd, 1-2 pm
Meet with other teens, plan and organize library activities, and receive community service credit!
Teen 'Scape
Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30-5 pm & Wednesday 1:30-5 pm
Join other teens for video & board games, crafts, homework, and free meals.
